Daniel Mycroft-Armer

Director of Education, Primary

With over 20 years of experience in education, predominantly in leadership roles, Daniel brings a broad and rich perspective to the role of Director of Education, Primary. Currently, he is also the Executive Headteacher of a three-form entry primary school that includes alternative and resource provision, which has given him valuable insight into the diverse needs of pupils and the varying contexts schools operate within. Throughout his career, he has worked across several local authorities and schools of different sizes, which has deepened his understanding of the challenges and opportunities in primary education.

Daniel has supported numerous schools on their improvement journeys and holds the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership. This qualification has further enhanced his skills in strategic leadership and school improvement. He passionate about collaborative working to develop teaching and learning and has experience of forming effective informal collaborations between schools.

Daniel is focused on supporting curriculum development to ensure every pupil’s needs are at the heart of what we do. He strongly believes in providing all adults in our schools with high-quality professional development to foster environments where both the staff and pupils within, and beyond, the Lydiate Learning Trust can thrive.
