Celebrating Our GCSE and BTEC Students

A huge congratulations to all our GCSE and BTEC students at Childwall Sports & Science Academy and Deyes High School who have received their results today.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work, determination and resilience our students have shown throughout their studies. These results reflect not only their achievements, but the commitment of the staff, families and wider school communities who have supported them along the way.

Whether students are continuing into Childwall Sixth Form College@Deyes, other sixth forms, starting an apprenticeship, heading to college or taking their next steps into the world of work, we wish them every success for the future.

Lillie: “I’m so surprised by my results because I thought I was going to get a 6 in Maths and Geography. Getting a 9 in Biology, English Language and Art, as well as 8s in Geography, Physics and Music, feels crazy. I’m really looking forward to staying at College@Deyes to study Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Art.”

Joshua: “I’m really pleased with my results, particularly my grade 9 in Computer Science, which was much higher than I expected. The revision sessions were extremely helpful and I’d advise any Year 11 student to go to as many as they can. All my teachers were amazing and gave me so much support throughout my GCSEs.”

Maja: “At Childwall, you are celebrated, challenged and supported to achieve your best. It’s a great community to be part of, and one where you always feel encouraged to succeed.”

Nabil: “Sixth form has taught me to think for myself and take on responsibility. I’ve grown so much, not just academically but as a person too. I’m leaving sixth form ready to take on university and life with real independence.”
