Primary School Support

The Lydiate Learning Trust network has considerable experience working with primary schools across the region through our well-established partnerships.

Our Associated Merseyside Partnership School Centred Initial Teacher Training (AMP SCITT) team works with 22 primary schools across Merseyside and supplies well-qualified and engaged teachers.

Our schools work closely with their feeder primary schools to facilitate a seamless transition from primary to secondary education.

Activities include school visits, parents meeting, additional SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) student visits and Summer Clubs. Younger primary students regularly visit our schools and experience subjects including ICT, Technology, Food and Nutrition, Drama, Dance, Sport, and Science.

Lydiate Learning Trust operates a partnership approach, which gives schools the chance to work with us in a time-limited way to benefit from quality professional development linked to their school improvement priorities.

We can offer support including:

  • Professional Development for staff
  • Leadership Development and coaching
  • Teaching and Learning Support including student and parental engagement projects
  • Shared resources including use of school facilities
  • Cost savings and efficiencies
