Associated Merseyside Partnership SCITT

The Associated Merseyside Partnership School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (AMP SCITT) is a strong and collaborative partnership of schools and colleges leading school-led teacher training across Merseyside.

AMP SCITT provides practical, hands-on training delivered by experienced, practising teachers, based in partnership schools. The SCITT course runs for one academic year after which trainees achieve Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE qualification.

AMP SCITT offers trainees teaching experiences across a wide variety of 35 partner schools including mixed comprehensives, 11-18 schools, Roman Catholic schools, single sex schools, special schools and academies.
AMP SCITT offers a wide range of subject specialisms and awards for both primary and secondary teachers. Click here to find out more.
