N​ational Apprenticeship Week

Students at schools across our Trust participated in various activities during National Apprenticeship Week.

A​t Deyes High School, an apprentice from our new build contractor Kier visited school to talk about their experiences and career opportunities. A group of students visited an Apprentice Information Fair at Southport College where they met local universities and employers including NHS, Navy, Lattimers, APM EV and Fletchers Solicitors.

 

6th form students visited the NHS Walton Centre Workplace Safari to find out about careers in the NHS from resuscitation and radiology to physiotherapy and neurophysiology.

Deyes alumna Lydia Squires' visited to school to talk to our students about life as a Data Science Degree Apprentice at Unilever and why she chose an apprenticeship over university. Click on the below video to find out more.
